Bending

How to Bend the Pins

Sequel Pin Racks are manufactured in a way that does not require a vinyl coating to hold the pins in place. By proper bending of the pins, you can increase the life of the Pin Rack.

The correct way to bend the pin is to allow at least .50″ space between the bend and the spine. By doing so, less force is applied to the connection between the pin and the spine, allowing for greater current carrying capacity.

A good rule of thumb is to…use your thumb… or finger, between the spine and the bend. This will ensure that the bend is placed out far enough from the spine.
